A Look inside Cabot Cove of Largo Assisted Living & Integrated Memory Care Community
Happy Holidays!
Tis the season for lots of laughter, joy, and eggnog! Cabot Cove will be celebrating this year with lots of sugar plum ferries and boughs of holly. All the little elves are preparing for our second annual magical Candlelight Dinner! Victoria will be mesmerizing us on her harp, as Mike serves up a delicious meal. There will be holiday punch and reindeer cookies All the residents made it on Santa’s good list, so his helpers will be handing out goodies to all! Residents and staff keep a look out for our Elf on a Shelf! Family welcome to attend the Christmas Dinner on December 25th. Sign up at front office, price is $15 a plate. We will be having an ugly sweater contest at the Christmas party, so come and enjoy all the festivities!
A Very Zany Christmas: Ode to Cabot Cove
~ Meagan Tuffley
In halls decked out with tinsel’s glee,
Christmas residents gather, such a sight to see,
A zany crew, each with their own flair,
Relatives & friends at Yuletide, a hilarious affair.
Walter P Jokes-a-Lot, pun master supreme,
Cracks cheesy lines, like a comedy dream,
Nancy Share’s stories, oh so grand,
fun moments, you must understand.
Debbie Picture-Addict, camera always in hand,
Clicking non-stop, it’s like a one person band,
Grandma Edna Tech-Challenged, facing gadgetry’s wave,
Buttons confuse her, but she’s stubbornly brave.
Pet-Obsessed Relatives brings critters in tow,
Dogs, cats, and a duck in the flow,
Distant Resident Historian, tales of yore,
Long-forgotten stories, from the Cabot family lore.
In this festive tapestry, quirks take flight,
Laughter and love, woven in just right,
Embracing the chaos, the jokes, and the cheer,
Together we toast, to the end of the year.
Artist Extraordinaire Judy W!
Thanks to our creative and talented Arts & Culture instructor, Ileana Holeman, our residents have become experts in drawing and shadowing. This is one of our facility’s favorite arts & crafts class. Ileana brings an exciting concept to drawing and bringing a touch of culture with it! We encourage family to come and enjoy the process of creating these beautiful images! Judy W does such a good job, that she is this month’s spotlight resident. Thank you, Judy for sharing your beautiful work!
Veteran’s Day Celebration
