Rockin’ the Holiday Party!
Happy New year Covians! The 2022 holiday season has been our most joyful yet. We were absolutely thrilled to have seen so many family and friends take part in all the cheerful festivities hosted by Cabot Cove of Largo, and we would like to thank everyone for making our home very merry and bright. Our holiday party was without a doubt the party of the year. With all of our loved ones and caring staff joining together to celebrate, we made many fond memories. We rocked out to our favorite Christmas songs performed by the beloved Cruiser, bringing smiles to everyone around. We enjoyed the bountiful feast of tasty hor d’ourves that Chef Gabby prepared.
This year, we hosted our first Christmas candle light dinner! Chef Mike dazzled us with his culinary prowess. Residents enjoyed duck confit and glazed smoked salmon entrees. During the dinner, residents enjoyed the musical performance of Victoria, our favorite harpist. Our senior residents went all out for our candle light dinner! Violet and Micki stunned with their beautiful blouses and gorgeous jewelry. Susan impressed us all with an outfit that was beautiful from head to toe!
Looking forward to an even more spectacular 2023, we are anticipating loads of fun and exciting times together here at Cabot Cove of Largo Assisted Living Community. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Holiday Spirit Week!
The residents and staff of Cabot Cove of Largo spent the week before Christmas participating in our first Spirit Week! Each day had a different theme and we had a blast dressing up! Pajama Day was a favorite among staff and residents both! Everyone enjoyed staying cozy and warm in their favorite PJs for the whole day. We all wore our best Ugly Christmas Sweaters to our Christmas Party. Family members were also invited and encouraged to participate in our competition! The winner received a $25 gift card!
Micki, Edna, and Nancy had a blast participating in Spirit Week! JJ looked so comfy in her pajamas. Mary Ann was an elf, helping Santa get all of the presents ready for Christmas!
A Magical Night of Lights!
Going out together and gazing at the bright Christmas lights has become one of Cabot’s most favorite holiday traditions. We enjoyed the magical nights with each other and are always amazed by the lovely glow casted by the millions of breathtaking Christmas lights! Touring the Lights of Largo for their first time, Linda and Janet were amazed by all the brilliant displays. They both said they would love to go back and enjoy the Christmas lights again next year, and we think that is a great idea ladies. Excited for their return for another enchanting night, Yvonne and Lynda enjoyed the lovely scenes. They were so happy to have their good friends join them for an unforgettable time! Each year these lights keep getting bigger and better. We are never disappointed and always have the most wonderful time seeing them before Christmas! We were amazed to discover that the Lights of Largo have been raising money for Suncoast Hospice for the last 30 years! Special thanks to Aravilla of Clearwater for letting us borrow their van and their driver, Dustin, to go tour the lights!
